This project comprises the recently completed comprehensive renovation of a listed terraced house from the 1920s, located within a historic housing estate in Berlin. The intervention operates within the field of tension between heritage conservation requirements and contemporary living. The building was fundamentally renewed from basement to roof. A new heating system, the complete renewal of all technical building services, and internal insulation bring the house up to current technical and energy standards. All installations were fully replaced. The interior was completely redesigned.
