Serentha Cabin is a retreat in Valle de Guadalupe, Baja California, conceived as two parallel volumes framing a central courtyard planted with mature olive trees. The project responds to the region’s arid climate through cross ventilation, controlled natural light, and fluid transitions between interior and exterior spaces. Corrugated metal cladding, polished concrete floors, and wood-lined ceilings create a restrained yet warm material palette. Built with accessible local techniques, the cabin proposes a climate-sensitive dwelling deeply connected to landscape, privacy, and well-being.
