Located along the pilgrimage route between Villa Corzo and Tuxtla GutiƩrrez, Chiapas, the chapel offers rest and shelter to groups travelling to honour the Virgin of Guadalupe. Conceived as an open and non-denominational space, its architecture avoids specific religious symbols, allowing diverse ceremonies to take place within it. Defined by simplicity, light, and materiality, the chapel transforms natural illumination into its central spiritual element, creating an atmosphere of contemplation, refuge, and transcendence beneath both its structure and the surrounding tree canopy.
