Samanea stems from an exploration of how architecture can respond to increasing urban density and scarcity in the contemporary city. The project translates site constraints into architectural logic, generating a volumetric strategy based on maximum land efficiency and articulated through stepped building masses. Its irregular geometry informs façades, structure and communal spaces, establishing a coherent spatial system. At ground level, a large landscaped pergola creates a transitional threshold between built form and landscape, offering areas of pause, permanence and collective use.
