Chapel Residence reinterprets sacred architecture to transform a vertical, six-story hilltop home into a deeply meditative sanctuary for a multi-generational family. Eschewing traditional luxury and religious iconography, NCDA utilized digital fabrication and artisan hand-plastering to create cloister-inspired arches and organic geometric forms. Balanced by a monumental material palette, the interior acts as an active framework for mindfulness—harnessing natural light and shifting shadows to craft a poetic, contemporary dialogue between everyday domestic life and quiet spirituality.
