Arena Lobo Convention Center transforms a former industrial warehouse from the 1960s into a new public space within a university campus in Aguascalientes, Mexico. The project preserves original brick walls, industrial fragments, and traces of time while introducing a contemporary steel structure that reinterprets the original roof geometry. Through selective restoration and adaptive reuse, the intervention reactivates the site’s industrial memory, converting an abandoned structure into a contemporary collective infrastructure.
