In Shanghai's Yunjian Granary Park, historic silo ground floor space become a fragrance flagship. The design stages a dialogue between "real" silo remnants and "imagined" silo constructs, using light silos to thread old and new. Extending the original silos grid, three imagined silos—defined phenomenologically by ceiling elements—emerge within the retail space. The notion of containment, distilled from grain storage, grafts onto the fragrance brand's scent container. This distillation of industrial memory evokes lingering echoes of the land's past, allowing old and new to coexist in harmony.
