This project set out to develop a brand identity for the Walker Art Center that reflects its position as a multidisciplinary institution operating at the intersection of contemporary art, performance, design, and public space. The goal was to create a flexible visual system that could accommodate the Center’s wide-ranging programming while maintaining a strong and recognizable voice. Conceptually, the identity aims to balance institutional credibility with experimental energy, positioning the Walker as both a cultural authority and an active, evolving platform for contemporary practice.
