Emma Table is the first furniture by Vik Muniz — one of Brazil’s most celebrated visual artists — created for the Arquétipos collection, launched at SP-Arte. A long-time button collector, Vik transforms this everyday object into a sculptural piece. Named after psychoanalyst Emma Jung, a key figure in the study of archetypes, the design is inspired by childhood memories and dollhouse furniture enlarged to a human scale. Produced in CNC-machined certified wood and stone versions in white quartzite and black granite weighing nearly 300 kg, Emma bridges contemporary art and collectible design.
