Research estimates that every election in Taiwan generates 200 tons of waste banners. Leveraging their waterproof durability, we use a Y-cut folding technique and superabsorbent polymer liners to create compact sandbags that expand instantly with water. This design extends material life, transforming divisive political symbols into a unified force for "homeland resilience"—setting aside differences for a common goal. For residents, intuitive assembly turns disaster preparedness into a shared responsibility, shifting from individual self-preservation to collective climate action.
