“Guan Leh Kong” responds to the decline of Taiwanese by reintroducing it through design. It develops a contemporary visual system rooted in local culture and integrates it into a board game that combines language learning with social interaction. By gamifying linguistic elements, the project lowers barriers to use and reconnects Taiwanese with modern life. Through visual, tactile, and interactive experiences, language shifts from a passive symbol to a shared everyday practice, demonstrating design as a tool for cultural sustainability.
