Drammen City Bridge is conceived as a transformative piece of infrastructure that redefines the city’s relationship with its river. Unifying bridge, central station, urban square, and quay within a single architectural gesture, the project reconnects Strømsø and Bragernes through a seamless public landscape centred on active mobility and public life. Shaped by the site’s unique constraints, asymmetrical spans create an iconic silhouette above the Drammenselva, combining structural clarity with a tactile, human-scaled civic experience.
