Located in Fengyang, Anhui, the project leverages a semi-basement to create spatial layers through elevation changes. At the entrance, green plants and water features paired with woven-pattern paving set the opening scene; within the sunken mirror water courtyard, natural light dances amidst reflection pools, tree planters, and low walls of luxury stone. The journey then “turns” into a natural waterfall created by the semi-basement’s elevation changes, seamlessly blending sound and sight. Finally, the walkway leads to a suspended tea house, bringing the narrative to a climactic closing moment.
