The Polished Absence is a cinematic visual communication project exploring identity erosion within hyper-polished contemporary Korean society. Through recurring objects, controlled compositions, and deteriorating identity symbols, the work constructs a moving-image system where domestic perfection becomes emotional confinement. Combining AI-assisted image generation with Adobe-based cinematic compositing and post-production workflows, the project approaches moving image as a contemporary design language rather than traditional narrative filmmaking.
