The system’s modularity allows for a wide range of configurations, enabling the combination of modules to adapt to the various uses, spaces, and site contexts that may be encountered. Beyond the shade provided, special attention has been paid to thermal comfort, both in terms of materials (high albedo and low thermal emissivity) and the shape of the slat profiles, which combine shading performance with natural convection through the canopy. As an option for permanent shade structures, a waterproof “winter” cover and an autonomous lighting system can be installed to ensure year-round usability.
