This garden was designed to remind the owner of his time as a teenager at his local cricket (sporting) club. It was next door to a cement works with big cement silos, which is what the concrete silos represent and they've now had new life added to them through planting the top. The plant palette was chosen to provide year round colour and interest, with flowers being the added bonus. At the time of planting, there were no flowers, and yet the garden was still so colourful. The bluestone paving is there to represent the original bluestone buildings that were on the original site built in 1890
