Smart Perch is a multi sensor monitoring system combining species recognition, individual identification and health tracking in one device. A nectar feeder attracts native birds while embedded RFID, AI vision and a precision perch scale capture real time behavioural and biometric data. It transforms backyards and gardens into a national conservation network, shifting data collection from a few field researchers to thousands of citizen scientists.
