VELA is a haptic wearable designed for early Alcohol Use Disorder recovery. It bridges the critical gap between scheduled clinical therapy and unpredictable real-world relapse triggers. By monitoring Heart Rate Variability, VELA detects rising stress levels in real-time. Through discreet haptic rhythms, it guides users into slow, paced breathing to instantly calm the nervous system and curb the urge to drink during high-risk moments.
