This project transforms a construction company office in a nostalgic shopping district into a casual hub for the local community. The design utilizes the 910mm module space of the existing structure, redefining it as a "contact space" that connects the city and the office. This "contact space" flexibly adapts to its urban context: it becomes an Engawa (veranda) along the street, captures natural light through skylights, and creates a "910 module Garden" from a dismantled extension. By reinterpreting traditional forms like Engawa and Noren, it fosters a diverse relationship with the exterior.
