To celebrate our twenty-nine years in business, we are producing an edition of Stevenson's Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. For this project, we designed the jeh grotesque font, in which some glyphs feature distorted and unpleasant variations, evoking the tension between the protagonist's two identities. The text of the novel is accompanied by illustrations inspired by the early Mickey Mouse short films, whose presence in the pages is entirely random, with no narrative coherence. Just as Hyde lives inside Jekyll, Mickey Mouse is an “alien” character who generates a visual and conceptual short circuit.
