Sanctuary of Reintegration transforms an existing church and its surrounding vacant site into a restorative justice center that bridges incarceration and community life. Building upon the church’s role in education and outreach, the project extends its civic function into a structured system of rehabilitation. Controlled overlaps between public, semi-public, and secure zones integrate education, vocational training, healthcare, and meditation within a unified circulation framework. Through adaptive reuse and urban reintegration, the design reframes correctional infrastructure as civic space.
