The book had to be as unique as the Rolls-Royce itself. The color is British green, because a collector of British cars is different from someone who collects Ferraris or VW Beetles. The subcolors serve to structure the chapters. The fold-outs meet the desire of many car collectors – to be able to view the car in its entirety without mismatched sections deforming it. The typography reflects the history of the Rolls-Royce, from a 1930s look to a modern typeface. The velvet cover pays tribute to the interior – the book allows everyone to enjoy the stylish interior of the Rolls-Royce.
