Chording is a music studio combining instrument display/sales, recording, teaching, and live events—a cultural hub. The site merged three apartments with a 4.8m ceiling cut by deep beams; we kept the double height and added mezzanines. A windowed stage anchors the plan, turning the venue into a small theater. Stairs, steps, walkways, and bridges double as seating and viewing zones at both high and low densities. Concealable modular furniture enables overlapping uses. Studios and classrooms are designed for acoustics, lighting, and equipment, while warm details keep the space welcoming.
