POROUS TERRACES is a nine-story,five-star hotel developed on Syggrou Avenue in Athens, designed as a benchmark for Green Architecture in dense urban conditions.Rising vertically, the building frees an 8-meter setback on three sides, creating a plaza-like ground with courtyards and decompression spaces. Each suite functions as an “urban house in the sky,”paired with a private, climate-active terrace.A porous, planted second skin enables passive shading, natural ventilation, acoustic comfort, and microclimatic regulation, transforming a loud boulevard into a quiet, low-carbon hospitality environment.
