The new build of a single-family home for a young family, complemented by a rentable dwelling, fits into a naturally grown post-war neighborhood. The design reinterprets the surrounding gabled-house typology in a contemporary language. A defined plinth with subordinate volumes forms a stable base on which the gabled main volume appears light. Window sizes derive from interior needs, creating a lively façade. Timber cladding links exterior and interior, while open voids, split levels, and spatial sequences enrich everyday family life.
