In Arbing, the Reischach administrative association realized a new daycare with one nursery and one kindergarten group. As reuse of the former village school was structurally unfeasible, a new building was constructed on the same site. On a five-meter slope at the village’s western edge, an L-shaped volume steps with the terrain; the lower roof becomes an outdoor area above. The elongated form and gabled roof reference local farm buildings. A green-stained timber façade blends into the landscape, while interiors are defined by wood and bright, airy spaces.
