Located on the grasslands of Heilongjiang, the Amyta Scenic Area was once a 4A-rated Mongolian cultural destination but declined after the pandemic. The Eye of Amyta is a leading architectural intervention designed to reactivate the site. Inspired by the traditional yurt, its contemporary circular form adopts a strategy of light intervention with minimal physical and visual impact. By integrating café, exhibition, and community activities into an open public platform, the project revitalises local tourism, re-engages younger generations, and reinforces cultural identity and a sense of place.
