Separation suggests the momentum of passage; as gaps emerge, movement finds its medium. Inspired by John Hejduk’s exploration of dualities in Wall House II, the Hejduk Lamp inhabits the space between separation and connection, stillness and flow. Classical fluting anchors the form as 3D-printed parametric curves set it in motion, shaping light into a tactile passage through time and space. Form, fabrication, and color unfold as a paired system—fluid yet grounded, precise yet adaptable—allowing the lamp to recombine, be renewed, and evolve in use, never settling into a fixed object.
