Located in Yangzhou’s historic Guangling Road, the project transforms a cluster of old and modern buildings—including the culturally protected Subei Cinema—into a garden-style hotel bridging past and present. Preserving timber structures and traditional spatial order, the design integrates natural elements inspired by Yangzhou’s classical gardens. New buildings reinterpret pavilions and towers with modern materials, harmonizing with the old town. Combining regional craftsmanship with contemporary comfort, the hotel revives the city’s cultural memory with warmth and authenticity.
