Extinction Songs is a visual identity for a series of temporary performances at the Chinati Foundation, where artists respond to the landscape and Donald Judd’s permanent works. Inspired by Judd’s clarity and structure, the identity features rotating cubes and vibrant colors such as gray, blue, and orange to express movement, energy, and temporality. The project bridges the gap between permanence and ephemerality, inviting deeper visitor engagement through design that harmonizes geometry, nature, and performance.
