Once a guest residence of the Scindia dynasty, this renovated heritage hotel joins IHCL’s ‘palace’ portfolio. Inspired by Maratha austerity, Gwalior queens and art deco influences, the 120-year-old structure blends restored original features with new design elements. Some of the highlights include suites, a ballroom and all-day dining. The multifoil arches, jaalis and the iconic sunburst motif in mirrors and metal fixtures define key areas. The Maratha suite uses Kota stone and lamp-inspired lights. The Maharani and Presidential suites are richly detailed, with views of Gwalior Fort.
