This pavilion, adjacent to the vineyard, functions as a wine-tasting area and a pool house for a private residence. In 2017, the estate was destroyed by the Tubbs fire, leaving only the pool and vineyards intact. The pavilion extends southward from the main house, anchoring the pool area between the structures. Harmoniously integrated into the site’s gentle slope, the pavilion’s design strategically incorporates cast-in-place concrete masses at the corners to create expansive open spaces and transparency. Deep overhangs provide shaded zones for the pool area and vineyard deck.
