FLOOR CLOCK is a step in my ongoing investigation into how the passage of time can be spatially articulated. By alluding to the familiar notion of a grandfather clock while employing industrial materials and a digital display, the work questions conventions of function, ornament, and temporality. It operates simultaneously as a sculptural object and a timekeeping device, prompting reflection on how we perceive and structure time.
