The "Oltre la strada" project regenerates the Via Milano area in Brescia on infrastructural, urban, and socio-cultural levels. A symbol of the revitalization is the new Borsoni Theater, located in a former degraded industrial area. Its symbol is the new Borsoni Theater, built in a former industrial site: a 21x64x9 m parallelepiped housing a 312-seat main hall and a 172-seat children’s hall. The façade is made of prefabricated diamond-patterned concrete blocks, while a 19-m scenic tower in backlit polycarbonate and a 7-m flared metal loggia with foyer and bar define its strong urban presence.
