Located in São Paulo’s countryside, Village House reflects one of MK27’s core values: blending indoors and outdoors. Under a shared marquee, thick stone walls form programmatic boxes. These volumes are freely arranged around alleys and piazzas, evoking medieval villages. Natural light enters from zenital openings in the marquee, while inside, the cozy atmosphere is bathed by the diffuse light streaming in through the mashrabyas. Interiors clad in wood and natural fabrics reinforce the rural character of the house, creating a smooth transition between communal and private.
