Komos Foundation's Amatitán Classroom is a pioneering Green Architecture project that transforms harmful tequila industry byproducts—Vinaza and Bagazo—into sustainable building materials. Built for a public school, the design integrates adobe and cobb for walls and Bagazo-based insulation for the roof, preserving the region’s traditional architecture. By upcycling waste into opportunity, we create an eco-friendly, small-scale infrastructure that supports education while revitalizing Amatitán’s natural and cultural heritage.
