The new building symbolises an ensemble that is accompanied by merging outdoor spaces of varying quality. The clarity and openness of the façade can also be felt inside the school building. The floor plans are zoned with just a few elements - a staircase core, sanitary cubicles and shafts. Narrow exposed concrete panels rhythmise the façades and give it a variable appearance depending on the viewing angle or location. The panels are less deep to the north/east than to the south/west. They thus react to the varying intensity of the sun and are therefore an integral part of the energy concept.
