Meo channels the hedonistic energy of the carefree ’70s and ’80s. The dimly lit space draws from Greg Girard’s photos of Hong Kong nightlife and the clandestine “love motels” of a bygone era. Plush pink drapery, vintage floral carpets, and bold red Guzzini pendants glow against dark wood paneling. A jukebox, like in Girard’s images, adds nostalgic charm. The bar extends the rumpus room-meets-bedroom concept, featuring eclectic thrifted finds from Taiwan. Meo invites with warmth and wonder: an escape, where the night is always young and full of possibilities.
