Lingo Keeper is a digital app, (a time capsule for endangered languages) for accelerating preservation efforts, revival and learning about indigenous languages. With over 40% of the world’s estimated 7,000 languages at risk of extinction (UNESCO), 50 to 90 percent are considered vulnerable to extinction by the end of the century. The dominance of world languages and a lack of inclusivity in digital resources have placed these linguistic treasures in crisis. The app includes vocabulary, traditions, stories, and customs, ensuring the preservation of cultural identity powered with AI.
