The predecessor of this project was the Lujiang Academy, which was established during the Jiaqing reign of the Qing Dynasty. It is a cultural heritage building. During the design of the Lingnan Finance Museum, the original academy space was integrated, and the architectural characteristics were preserved. Corridors were expanded and display areas were added without damaging the original architecture. The exhibition space layout was also rationalized. This project provides a new attempt for the transformation of small museums of ancient architecture type.
