The project site is to the northeast of the intersection of Gucheng 2nd Road and Guxing Road in Bao’an District, Shenzhen, China. The site is surrounded by a great deal of industrial buildings, which causes an strong oppressive feeling and brings stressful firefighting challenges. The project is a Grade-1 fire station, with a plot area of 3,963.11 m² and a gross floor area of 5,120.87 m². The station accommodates eight fire engines and comprises a main building, a training tower, and a basement, which is a typical centralized and compact layout.
