La Posmoderna, located in Mérida, Yucatán, is a remodeling and expansion project of an 80s-era home. The design focuses on spaciousness, lighting, and ventilation, with the kitchen expanded to connect to the terrace and pool. The foyer was reorganized, and bedrooms were modernized. A two-story building with studios was added, and the service room was repurposed. Sustainable materials like adobe bricks and marble were used, blending old elements with contemporary design, reflecting the client's identity and regional influences.
