Neon Comment is an ongoing visual experiment curated, designed, and produced by Ben van Loon (as Anobium), utilizing “dead document” and public domain exploration for image discovery reclamation in multiple contexts. Neon Comment: Volume 001 is an inaugural magazine-based product, collecting scores of images and designs from public domain documents, books, defunct trade journals, PC/gaming magazines, and other dead media, and converting select samples into vector image files for applications in screen printing, sign printing, stickers, pins, billboards, and other multimedia applications.
