Sauska Tokaj Winery is located in the UNESCO protected historic wine region of Tokaj-Hegyalja, Hungary. The architectural concept was inspired by the “untouched untouchable” - the view of undulating vineyards. The aim was to make the building appear like a gentle form floating above the landscape. In addition to the winemaking function, gastronomy also got an important role in the building. The cold metallic shine of the cellar level is in exciting contrast with the cosy atmosphere of the visitor area located above ground level.
