The window wall on the south side and the patio serve as primary light sources for this loft penthouse in Beijing suburbs. The use of a curved shape softens interior light and naturally connects different functional spaces. Together, lights and shadows on the walls manage to provide serial scenery throughout all spaces. Besides, every space has its own scenery. We’ve designed an abundant display area, with the aid of dark wood grain panels and textured paints, to create a modest but artistic ambiance.
