On the path of Caspar David Friedrich September 2024 marked the 250th birthday of the great painter Caspar David Friedrich. To commemorate the occasion, the Hanseatic City of Greifswald is dedicating a whole year of events to its famous son. The wayfinding and orientation system is not only intended to provide orientation for the numerous visitors, but also to enhance the perception of the original locales of the painter and the in part widely spread event venues amongst the broader public. This will make the journey through the picturesque city a special experience.
