Stairs guide visitors through the Basiliektoren at the Teseum Museum in Tongeren, Belgium. The wayfinding system, designed to minimize visual interference and respect the historic architecture while orienting visitors in a way that is direct and legible. Striving for simplicity, text is avoided where possible in favour of maps, pictograms and graphic elements. The signage employs a neutral palette with orange accents to extend a comforting welcome without sacrificing clarity. The ascent rewards visitors with access to the historic belfry and unrivalled views of the city.
