Nestled in the residential Retiro neighborhood, in Buenos Aires, Argentina my Home/studio was built in 1919. Plenty of light, high ceilings, and parquet floors, the property was neglected, but it was magical. Ample updates were necessary, electricity and plumbing were ancient. I needed to adapt the existing plan to contemporary life, but the original floor plan stayed intact, preserving as much of the original as possible, and restoring it to its former glory, Sustainability was key, I mixed simple with sophisticated, re-using and combining vintage with contemporary materials,art and furniture
