BudaPrés is a cider factory located in Etyek wine region (Hungary). Inspired by the Tartan pattern, the architectural concept transformed the traditional gable roof of press houses into a unique spatial arrangement. The building masses rise out of the hillside, reminiscent of old-fashioned cellar entrances, while blending seamlessly into the landscape. The design combines the functionality of industrial manufacturing with the elegance of hospitality. The underground production area is accessed through the courtyard, and above, the guest lounge offers a stunning view of the factory below.
