The homeowner, a close friend of Designer Zheng Hong and Xu Jing for nearly two decades, initially intended to use this space as a temporary residence. However, as the design took form, the homeowner fell in love with the serene and unpretentious atmosphere, and the idea of occasional stays transformed into a permanent residence. HongYiYuan Design endeavors to revive the home’s authentic essence. It has become her sanctuary, a repository that carries the weight of time, embracing the past, present, and future, and continuing to flourish and grow evermore abundant.
